The best day ever!

No, I’m not pregnant (yet).

I woke up today with a huge smile on my face. I don’t know what is going on in the world but things finally seem to be falling into place for us.

First, today is my husband’s first flight as a CAPTAIN! I’m so proud of him! He’s been working toward this for ten years, has made a lot of sacrifices, and has truly earned his new title. I couldn’t be happier for him! Now I need to think of a way to surprise him when he gets home tonight.

Second, I got called by TWO principals this morning to interview for open positions at their schools! I’m staying in my district but trying to transfer into a different neighborhood. I’m interviewing tomorrow and Friday, and will hopefully have my new classroom by the end of the month.

Third, my prescription is in! I always get nervous when my doctor calls my prescription into my local-yocal pharmacy. Last time, I had to drive across the city in a snow/ice storm (with my pregnant friend who visited that weekend) to get clomid. I stopped by the pharmacy this morning and my meds will be in this afternoon. I’ll be popping pills tomorrow yipeee!

It’s a gorgeous day outside, the perfect temperature, and I’m getting ready to go babysit my favorite boys. I texted my husband this morning and told him, “Good things are happening for us! I’m seeing all the signs!”

Hopefully this means our IUI this month will be a success!

    1. Yay we can celebrate our hot flashes and mood swings together! I just picked up my meds expecting to pay close to $100, and it ended up being less than $3! I had her triple check my meds and the price. I’m really having the best luck today!

      1. I’m trying letrozole this cycle because clomid completely threw my cycles off, so I expected it to be more expensive. I’ll be anxious to see how I react to letrozole.

      2. Thankfully Clomid hasn’t thrown my cycles off…I was nervous bc I have to take Provera usually to get a cycle started and this time on Clomid I didn’t have to. I hate Provera.
